After having the pleasure of participating in a CSS Deep Dive training session and having the concept of specificity thoroughly explained I really wanted the image that the presenter was using as a poster. The PDF that can be found here is 8.5 by 11 and rasterized. With that I decided to do a remix of the information in a vectorized format using my own style and flare of design.
After a quick search of vectorized fish, I turned to Creative Market and found a stunning set of geometric fish graphics. Breaking down the formatting of the poster was the same. After getting everything on the page and looking pretty I realized that if this were a poster hanging on the wall, then a through explanation of what is happening would be needed. Luckily MDN had a good explanation that fit into two nicely sized paragraphs.
Overall this was a fun way to contribute back into the informational ecosystem, learn thoroughly how specificity works, and polish up my graphic design skills!
